Zumiez Inc. is an American multinational specialty clothing store founded by Tom Campion and Gary Hawkinson in 1978, and has been traded for a year since 2005. The mid-to-late 1980s brought new online stores outside the Puget Sound area, changing the company's name to Zumiez. The company's office was moved from Everett to Lynwood, Washington in 2012. as of February 3, 2018, Zumiez operates 698 stores; 608 in the United States, 52 in Canada, 54 in Europe and 12 in Australia. Zumiez is a leading retailer of lifestyle brands, focusing on sports such as skiing, snowboarding, BMX, and motocross.
