Nature Bounty Inc., formerly known as NBTY, is an American company that manufactures vitamins and supplements that are distributed under many third-party brands in the United States and internationally. Its name was changed from Nature's Bounty Inc. to NBTY, Inc. in 1995. NBTY also markets products to chain stores such as CVS and Target. in November 2016, the company renamed itself Bounty Nature Co.Nature's Bounty is also a well-known brand in Pakistan for vitamins and supplements, almost available as competing brands such as Metro, Carrefour Pakistan, Emeds, Fat, etc. Nature's Bounty was also established in 1971 by Arthur Rudolph in the first place as a post-based company, based in 1971. Nature's Bounty is headquartered in Ronkonkuma, New York. Carlisle acquired NBTY in 2010 for $3.8 billion. As of 2015, the company recorded total sales of $3 billion, with a consumer product group of $1.9 billion, $891 million Holland & Barrett International and $247 million from direct to consumer. It considered selling the company amid growing interests from China, or an IPO in early 2017.
