It is a public lycée listed on nasdaq and was the second largest mortgage operator in the United States EZCORP with controlling interests in Prestaciones Finmart, S.A.P.I. De C.V., SOFOM, E.N.R. (doing business under the name Crediamigo and Adex), a consumer loan provider in Mexico, and in Renueva Commercial, S.A.P.I. de C.V., which is an operator of buying/selling shops in Mexico under the name TUYO. The company also has an investment in Cash Converters International Limited, which franchises and operates a global network of more than 750 stores offering personal financial services and selling pre-owned goods. company was founded in 1989. In 1994, the company grew to operate 234 mortgage stores in nine states. The company expanded its payday loan services at its EZPAWN locations in 2001. The first independent payday loan stores called EZMONEY were opened in 2003. EZCORP THEN ENTERED THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET.
