Sinclair Radio Group, Inc. (SBG) is a publicly traded American telecommunications company controlled by the family of the company's founder Julian Sinclair Smith. Headquartered in the Baltimore suburb of Cokessville, Maryland, the company is the second largest television station operator in the United States in terms of the number of stations (after Nixstar Media Group), owning or operating a total of 193 stations nationwide in more than 100 markets (covering 40% of American households), many of which are located in the South and Midwest, and are the largest owners of fox, ABC, and CW stations. Sinclair also owns four multi-transmission digital networks (Comet, Charge!, Stadium, TBD), sports-oriented cable networks (tennis channel and Fox Sports Networks), and broadcastservice (animation), and owns or operates four radio stations in the Pacific Northwest. Among other non-broadcast properties, Sinclair also owns professional wrestling promotion ring of honor and honor club streaming service.
