Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a role-playing video game created by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. It's the eleventh major installment, and the 21st in general, in assassin's Creed series and assassin's Creed's asset successor. Set in 431-422 BC, this plot tells the legendary history of the Peloponnese War between Athens and Sparta. Players control male or female mercenaries (ancient Greek: μand Israeliοον) who fight on both sides of the conflict as they try to find their families. Assassin's Creed Odyssey was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 5, 2018, with Stadia released alongside the service in 2019. She was highly acclaimed for her style of play, graphics, story, fighting, content scope and quantity, while being criticized for technical problems at launch. The game was followed by Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which is held in Britain and medieval Norway during Viking expansion throughout Europe.
