Trade Citi Trends

City Trends is an American retail clothing chain selling discounted products that primarily target urban customers. The company opened its first store in Savannah, Georgia in 1958 under the name Allied Stores. The company began renaming its City Trends stores in 2000, and officially became Citi Trends in 2001.City Trends has more than 571 stores in 33 states. The series is known to target low-income urban customers. Citi has been trending in clothing for more than 58 years. In May 2005, CitiTrends became a public shareholding company on nasdaq with the code CTRN. City Trends is headquartered in Savannah, Georgia. There is also a distribution center in Darlington, South Carolina along with one in Roland, Oklahoma. On February 28, 2005, Citi went on to go into an initial public offering of shares worth up to $57.5 million. In March 2017, CEO Jason Mazola resigned after two years in the company. CFO and Chief Operating Officer Bruce Smith will step in as acting CEO until a permanent replacement is found.
