AutoCAD, a leading computer-aided software design company (CAD) and Revit software used primarily by architects, engineers, structural designers for design, project, model buildings and other structures. Autodesk software has been used in many areas, and on projects from World Trade Center One to Tesla Electric Cars. Autodesk has become better known for AutoCAD, but now develops a wide range of programs for design, engineering, entertainment, and a line of programs for consumers, including a drawing booklet. The manufacturing industry uses Autodesk Digital Software for ready-made models — including Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360 and Autodesk Product Design Suite — to visualize, simulate and analyze real-world performance using a digital model in the design process. Revit's company's line of software is designed to build information models to allow users to explore Planning, building and managing a building almost before it is built. Autodesk Media Entertainment Division creates programs for visual effects, color tones, editing, as well as animation, game development, and design visualization. Max 3ds and Maya are both 3D animation programs used in visual film effects and game development.
