Trade Aurora Cannabis
Aurora Cannabis Inc. is a Canadian licensed cannabis product company, based in Edmonton. It is traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange as ACB. In late September 2018, Aurora Kand had eight licensed production facilities, five sales licenses, and operations in 25 countries. Its funded capacity is over 625,000 kilograms of cannabis production per year, with most capacity in Canada and an increasing presence in international markets, particularly in Denmark and Latin America. Aurora is the second largest cannabis company in the world by market value, after Parachute Growth Company. The company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on October 23, 2018 using the ACB index. After a major expansion in 2018, the company cut expenses in the second half of 2019 when the Canadian recreational cannabis market was low due to excessive inventory and uncompetitive pricing with the black market. In February 2020, Terry Booth, co-founder and CEO, resigned to be replaced by CEO Michael Singer as interim CEO.
