Trade Alexco Resource Corp
Alexco owns the Keno Hill Silver Zone in The Yukon Territory of Canada, historically one of the highest grade silver regions in the world, producing more than 200 million ounces of silver in an average score of about 1250 grams per ton ("g/t") silver. Alexco started commercial production in the Keno Hill Silver area in 2011, producing nearly two million ounces of silver and more than 20 million pounds of concentrated lead and zinc annually in 2013 when production was suspended in the face of the collapse of silver and base metal prices. Since then, Alexco has made two important exploratory discoveries and a number of third-party agreements have been renegotiated. The discoveries of flame, moth and birmingham deposits have added more than 20 million ounces of silver with an average of 800 g/t of silver to the alexco resource base referred to in the region. These additions have led to a new and expanded multi-mining production plan, reflecting a significant increase in resources, longer life and reduced overall costs.
