Investors Bank is a full-service bank based in Short Hills, New Jersey, USA. The Bank operates more than 150 branches throughout New Jersey and New York. in 1926, the bank was founded as the Washington Rock Building and Loans Association. Sixteen years later, it changed its name to the Investors Association for Savings and Loans. Through mergers and acquisitions and internal expansion, the bank eventually grew into investor savings Bank.In 1997, and investors changed from a leased mutual savings bank in New Jersey to a new Jersey-leased equity savings bank, reorganizing it as a two-tier holding company. The Bank became a wholly owned subsidiary of Investors Bancorp, a mid-class holding company leased from Delaware, and Investors Bancorp Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Investors Bancorp MHC. in 2005, Encorp Investors became a partly public company, trading common stock on nasdaq. In 2011, the bank renamed itself and changed its name to the Investors Bank. On May 8, 2014, Investors became bancorp as a fully public company.
